Our Creative Founders.

Small Batch Films is a film production and post house based in LA (but usually on the road).

Between the two of them, they have 30+ years experience in film, on film sets, in production, post, VFX, and the general art of storytelling.

Sarah Phillips Batchelder

Sarah is an award-winning writer, cinematographer and director, and has traveled around the world shooting everything from 360 content in Bangladesh to commercials off the coast of Cape Town. She is also an FAA Part 107-certified drone pilot.

Nick Batchelder writes, produces and directs. He is a member of the Producer’s Guild of America, and has shot multiple formats in nearly every medium across the globe from Hong Kong to Portugal.

Small Batch's background is in story first, and everything we do, pursue, chase, and dream of has to do with how to tell stories better. Ultimately, everything we do is in service to the story, and we're very passionate about good storytelling and the many arts and crafts that surround the noble pursuit of such.
